While naming a seat won’t guarantee you specific future ticketed seating placement in that seat, it does give you an extremely cool permanent memento within The Grand itself!

Main Floor Seat: $2,500
Balcony Seat: $1,000

50/50 Split: Pay 50% in 2026 (after confirming your seat location) and the remaining 50% in 2027.

Naming a seat is a special recognition opportunity that supports The Grand. A personalized plaque is permanently affixed to a seat in the theater to honor, commemorate, or celebrate an individual, family, or organization.

Yes. Seat selection is based on availability at the time of purchase. Our team will be happy to share available options and help you select a seat, or click here for our live seat map.

Each inscription can include up to two lines of text, with a maximum of 28 characters per line (including spaces and punctuation).

Yes. As long as the text fits within the two-line, 28-character-per-line limit, two names can be included on a single plaque.

Name a seat contributions are 100% tax-deductible, and a tax acknowledgment letter will be mailed to you upon receipt of your payment(s).

Names are recognized on the plaque itself. Additional recognition opportunities may be available at a variety of giving levels, with donor wall acknowledgment beginning at $10,000.

Your legacy is important to us. All previous plaques will be remade and placed on the back of a new seat.

We know you feel sentimental about this, and we do too! The feet are bolted and anchored into the concrete, which is why we've been able to use these seats for 40+ years. But this also means it's really hard to get them out. The lengths we have to go to remove the seats make them essentially "unsittable" and unstable on the base. Because of this, and the tight construction schedule, we will not be offering the current seats to the public. Don't worry, though, this part of our history will still live on! We will keep a few seats and archive them, as we have done in the past.
